sugar 250 g
125 ml water
salt 2 tbsp

Thoroughly washed oranges and if necessary with a brush
Cut the oranges into thin slices
In a saucepan put the oranges, salt and water to cover. Boil for 3 minutes and discard water
Put the oranges back into the saucepan, along with sugar and 125g of water. Let simmer for 1 hour and 15min and gently stir occasionally to prevent sticking
In a bowl, let stand oranges in the syrup until cold, about 2 hours
Remove them from the syrup and let stand 24 on a rack to drain
